What we did
- Web Design
- Web Development
- User Experience
- Wordpress Theme Design
- Logo Design
Nicholas approached us to create a new logo and website to let his followers discover what he's up to online, where to purchase his books and where to see him in person. The site also serves as a hub for his blog, The Scamopedia as well as a podcast called Scamapalooza.
Nicholas already had a well established brand coming into the project, but asked us to update the logo and website to better reflect the rest of the brand.
We also designed a logo that was inspired by the aesthetic of the old site, which had its visual roots in the Vaudeville style of the early 20th century. The inclusion of the 4 suits in a deck of cards and a slightly disjointed section of the logo elude to the card tricks and "smoke and mirrors" or slight-of-hand aspects of Nick's performances.
We decided to push the Vaudeville theme already present in his brand for site, as it perfectly encapsulated Nick's personality and performances. Taking what already existed, we refined and redesigned the style while focusing on much more organized page layouts and including small details and flourishes that accentuated his character and style.
Nicholas has been an asbolute treat to have as a client, and we're happy to have been a part of the project.
